The Black Ops 6 Ranked Play grind continues in Season 3, so you’ll need the best weapons and loadouts to climb the divisions.
To access Black Ops 6 Ranked Play in Season 3, you must first win 10 matches in standard multiplayer playlists. After that, the grind is similar to other titles. You earn Skill Rating by winning and performing well, which helps you progress through eight Skill Divisions.

It’s an SMG, so you want it to be mobile, and that’s where the Ergonomic Gripand Infiltrator Stockcome in. With these two attached, you’ll be able to shoot almost immediately after sprinting, diving, and sliding, and you will be able to quickly strafe in gunfights, thanks to the stock.

Activision / DexertoThe Jackal PDW was previously the meta option in BO6’s Ranked Play, and despite some nerfs to its mobility in Season 3, it’s still worth using.
The Gain-Twist Barrelis the only Barrel option available, but it’s still worth using as its bullet velocity buff will increase its range. It’s still pretty easy to use, so the added mobility from the Ranger Foregripis still worth it. But, if you find it a little bit too difficult to control, the Vertical Foregrip is another solid option.
Article continues after adThe Ergonomic Gripand Infiltrator Stockmake the Jackal extremely mobile, letting you shoot quicker after moving and able to quickly strafe when firing. Finally, the Recoil Springsmake it a little bit easier to shoot.
Dexerto / ActivisionThe Stryder .22 is the only handgun available in Black Ops 6 Ranked Play, and since you can only equip three attachments, you should put them all on. While using Fast Mag IIwill give you fewer bullets in the mag, you’ll be much more mobile, and the 20 it allows for is still an incredible amount.

Dexerto | Activision Ninjais a good choice for Search and Destroy because it reduces footsteps noise. For Hardpoint and Control, however, Flak Jacketis a great choice for taking less damage from explosives.
The only Perk 2 option available is Fast Hands. Despite the lack of options, this Perk is still helpful as it increases weapon swap speed.
Article continues after adLike Perk 2, you would be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t use Double Timein their Perk 3 slot. It increases the tactical sprint duration and the recharge rate, making it easier to escape gunfights, rotate, or get to a bomb site.
Perk Greedis the best Wildcard. We used that extra Perk slot on Dexterity to reduce weapon motion while diving, sliding, and jumping. However, Gunfighter can also be worthwhile with some of the loadouts mentioned above.
Article continues after adFor the lethal equipment, Frag Grenadesor Semtex Grenadesare both viable choices. Flashbangswere surprisingly not restricted, so those are your best bet for the tactical slot.
Last up, Trophy Systems are the only available Field Upgrade. If you don’t equip Flak Jacket, its is a good way to deflect grenade spam.
